the last time i made an "apple crisp" was in my jr. high home ec. class, some 15-20 years ago. i was looking to make a crisp recipe that was just as good as that one was back them. i tried this one this afternoon. wow! so easy, very little prep, and very little ingrediants. it was really great! i forgot what i've been missing. i will definately make this again.

Very good recipe, and very easy to make--especially for a college student with little to no cooking experience. However, I would make one change. As I like to make my apple crisp in a flat baking pan, I would probably double the butter, brown sugar, and flour so that the topping covers all of the apples. Other than that, this is an awesome recipe, very easy preparation for something that is slightly more impressive than putting out oreos from the food store.
