- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3⁄4 cup margarine
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
directions
- Preheat oven to 350°C.
- In bowl, stir together flour, baking soda.
- In microwaveable bowl, place 2 cups of chocolate chips and microwave on HIGH for 1.5 minutes, stir. Microwave an additional 30 seconds or until chips are melted and smooth when stirred. Allow to cool slightly.
- In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar. Add eggs, beat well.
- Blend in melted chocolate, and gradually add flour mixture, beating well.
- Stir in remaining 2 cups of chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-9 minutes. Allow to cool slightly on sheet, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
