  • Melt 1 cup of the chocolate chips over boiling water; cool slightly.
  • Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt into a mixing bowl.
  • Add sugars, egg, butter, milk, vanilla, and melted chocolate chips.
  • stir just to blend, then beat for 1 minute.
  • Stir in remaining 1 cup chocolate chips.
  • Drop by tsp.
  • about 2" apart, onto ungreased baking sheet.
  • BAke at 375 degrees for about 10-12 minutes.

  1. I halved the recipe and it came out just fine. A little over 2 dozen cookies. I thought 4 dozen would be too much.

  3. Good and chewy. Warning: they are very sweet!!! Also it makes a ton of cookies.
     
  4. Made 39 half T of cookies @.I bake them about 11min, and they were chewy. Tasted like brownies to me. I felt like eating brownies but in diff shape..I freeeze them about 1 hour to prevent them from turning flat before scooping the dough
     
  5. Delicious, but perhaps this recipe makes a few too many cookies in one go!
