Double Chocolate Macadamia Nut Muffins

"These muffins are a lovely combination of sweet and salty with a great crunch from the nuts. They originally come from the Australia's Womens' Weekly Muffins and Scones cookbook, but I have modified them a bit. I hope youll enjoy them as much as we do! :)"

  • Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a big bowl.
  • In a second bowl combine egg, oil and milk. Add this to the dry ingredients.
  • Fold in chocolate chunks and chopped nuts.
  • Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin and bake in the preheated oven at 180°C/350°F for about 25 minutes or muffins are nicely browned on top and a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
