  1. Sift together dry ingredients.
  2. Mix in one at a time, egg, milk, and oil, and stir until smooth.
  3. Heat 1 inch of oil in pan to 365 degrees.
  4. Drop dough by teaspoons into hot oil, turning after a few seconds.
  5. Fry until evenly browned.
  6. Remove with slotted spoon.
  7. Drain on paper towls.
  8. Roll in sugar of choice and serve warm.
