Dracula's Eyes

"I got this recipe out of a Better Homes and Gardens magazine many years ago. Always a hit with the kids or when we take them to Halloween gatherings or work. Cook time is drying time for the peanut butter balls/melting time for the candy coating"

  1. just a heed of warning: must make sure you put the unmarked side of M&M up, altho the black pupil might cover the white M&M mark.

  2. I just made these for a Halloween party and they were a hit. However I think that the next time I try making these, I may put the peanut butter balls into the fridge instead of just letting them dry because they didn't really keep their shape while I had to cover them with the chocolate. But overall, they came out great.

  3. Fun to make!

  4. These are delicious but were left with sticky fingers from the gel. My daughter painted on veins with red food coloring on a few of the eye’s, it worked great and was not any harder than using the gel.

  5. These got lots of EWWWWW!! and squeals from the neighbor kids. They were a big hit! LOL! Easy and fun to make. The peanut butter mixture is delicious. I ran into a bit of problem with the decorating gel staying wet but I think that was because we've had very high humidity. Great recipe, the kids loved em!
