- 1⁄4 cup baking soda
- 1⁄2 cup white vinegar
- hot water
directions
- Pour baking soda down drain.
- Then pour the vinegar (probably any vinegar will do).
- Wait 20 minutes and pour down HOT water.
- Worked for me :).

Love it! Love it! Love it! Easy to do and so much cheaper/healthier than any store-bought chemicals. I used more than 1/2 cup of vinegar (kept pouring a little at a time until it stopped fizzing) and used a big pot of boiling water. It seems to have helped with our fruit fly problem. Thank you for posting!
