  1. Wash and trim asparagus.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet on low-medium heat.
  3. Add garlic to butter and heat until fragrant but not brown.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms and chopped green onions.
  5. Stir mixture occasionally until mushrooms have reduced (almost half cooked).
  6. Add asparagus to the skillet on top of the mushroom mixture.
  7. Cover the skillet and reduce the heat to low.
  8. Continue cooking for about 7 minutes or until the asparagus is done to your liking.
  9. Plate the asparagus and top with the mushroom mixture.
