1. Very good, do you think adding Easter m & m's would be good?

 2. I added 1/2 tsp cream of tarter and used 1/2 powdered and 1/2 granulated sugar. I always go a little heavy on the vanilla. I used a medium scoop and flattened with a glass dipped in water. They took 12 min in my oven. The best sugar cookie ever.

 3. Easy, quick & delicious. They keep very, very well.

 4. I added 1 teaspoon almond extract, and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. I scooped the cookies with a small cookie scoop and dipped the tops in colored sugar and pressed them with the bottom of a glass and they were perfect for valentines day

 5. So rich & delicious yet so basic & easy to make! It was hard to stop eating these delectable little cookies!! I followed the recipe exactly & loved the crunchy outside, soft, cakey inside. I did end up with 4 dozen good-sized cookies.

I live here in wild, wonderful West Virginia with my wonderful husband. I won't give lower than a 3 star on a recipe. Just because I didn't care for it, doesn't mean some else won't, they might love it. We all have different tastes. And I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.
