"This recipe so easy. I make for every get-together, potluck or party that I go to. I make for new neighbors. its so good. I've had lots of compliments. You can use just about any flavor cake mix. Spice goes really well with peach filling or canned pears ( I use 3 cans and drain the syrup off of two). I also leave out the pineapple when using peaches or pears. Carrot cake is really good too. I mostly use yellow cake mx. Be creative and come up with your own combinations."

ingredients

1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling (you can use your favorite flavor, I love blueberry)
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (18 ounce) box cake mix, any flavor
¹⁄₂ cup butter, cut into 8 pieces

directions

"Dump" the pie filling and pineapple in a 9x13 inch pan. Mix together. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the top of the mixture.
Dot the butter over the cake mix.
Bake at 350 for about 30-45 minutes until golden brown.
