- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup chives
- 1⁄2 cup butter
directions
- Sift all dry ingredients.

- milk.
- chives.
- mix until flour forms a dough ball.
- spoon drop into boiling salted water.
- cook 12 minutes.
- do not remove lid.
- when done immediately.
- remove from water.
- brown butter in a seperate pan.
- drizzle dumplings with browned butter.
- serve immediately.
