I made 4 of these for Christmas gifts. The first 2 seemed a little "runny" so for the next 2, I sprinkled 2 tablespoons of flour on the bottom of the crust before adding the apples. Although I thought this was a little sweet for my taste and next time will decrease the sugar, the pies were really excellent! I will make this again without hesitation. Please make your own crust!

My DH & i moved closer to where he works, next door to his parents so we are there to help them when they get older.
I like to cook experiment with foods, so i will have more time for this.
I really do like this site & the support we get from friends we do not know.
