Dutch Oven Barbecue Ribs

"I cook these in a dutch oven (cast iron with lid). You can also use any heavy covered pan. Or cook them at your campsite with 10 charcoals on the bottom and 14 on top of your dutch oven maintaining 160 degrees. Be sure to have rolls or corn bread on hand."

  1. I see there is no vinegar or lemon juice in this barbeque sauce. Should there not be some? Thank you.

  1. Alright..so I do a search for "dutch"...come up with these and love ribs..have company coming etc. Decide, nah, don't want to fuss with the dutch oven, but I love moms ribs..I'll call her and do her recipe...guess what? #1..she's dutch (right off the boat)...and #2...this is her recipe..except she pan roasts them...I couldn't believe it. THIS is the only way I like ribs..I don't know if it's really dutch..but they are the BEST! p.s...the company asked for the recipe too! Thank you for sharing this fabulous recipe! A keeper for sure! LA :-)

  2. Superb recipe :)

  3. I did not like the flavor of the sauce. Pretty boring and way too heavy on the tomatoe. However, it was edible and the ribs cooked pretty well.
