- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 plum tomato, diced
- 2 fresh serrano chilies, diced
- 1⁄4 cup scallion, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon cumin seed, toasted and crushed with mortar and pestle
- 1 pinch salt
- tortilla chips
directions
- Combine all ingredients except tortilla chips and mix well. Chill until ready to serve.

Totally Buster-Approved! He was CHOWING on this dip when I busted him! LOL, he just hunkered down & kept on going instead of scramming - tasted it & I know why - this is mighty toothsome! Served w/thin tortilla chips & partnered with a fresh salsa (which Buster didn't deign to touch). Will keep this recipe & make again (next time not sticking hot pepper finger in eye absentmindedly -;)). Thank you, Sandi, for this yummo recipe - from Buster & me -
Oh, this was so delicious! I have to admit, I got a bit lazy and didn't grind the cumin after toasting it...it was still yummy. Also, I used jalapeno instead of serrano (I'm a kind of a wimp). Thanks for the recipe, Earl (I mean...Sandi!). P.S. Sandi, your intro cracked me up. :)
