  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Butter an 8-inch square baking dish.
  • Place tea bags in heatproof bowl; pour boiling water over. Let steep 8 minures. Remove and discard tea bags.
  • Stir in brown sugar and and 3 tablespoons cocoa powder.
  • Sift flour with remaining cocoa pwder and baking powder in separate bowl.
  • In a large bowl, combine egg with sugar, melted butter, milk and vanilla.
  • Stir flour mixture into egg mixture.
  • Spread in prepared baking dish. Carefully pour tea mixture over batter but do not mix it inches.
  • Bake 25 minutes. Cool 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Serve warm.
