Easier Than Easy - French Onion Soup

"I had French Onion Soup at a restaurant yesterday and when discussing it with my mother, she said "Oh you have got to try this!", She is on WW and is having this for lunch everday. I hope you like it as much as we do. I just finished a bowl. You can bake this in the oven if you want to toast your cheese alittle bit, but for yummy, it's really not neccessary."

  1. I don't see whether you add the water as stated on the cans or not. I notice the recipe here did not mention water. Please advise.

  1. This is very easy and tastes just like what a restaurant would serve. Next time I will buy 2 cans of soup for the two of us. Thanks

  2. This was so good and easy. I had a can of French Onion soup and didn't know what to do with it. It was great and matched with a salad, made for a wonderful lunch. Thanks Tina!!

  3. I do like me homemade french onion soup. I'll post it sometime. but this is great. Dinner in minutes and it is good (wish I could find low sodium Campbells onion soup but I suppose spurging once a while won't hurt. I put it under the broiler and used a piece of french bread since that is what I had. I did have the cheese. Thanks for a great quick recipe. I will definitely make it again. When I have time I'd probably use my grandma's recipe but this is a keeper.

  4. This is a fav - if you put it in an oven-safe bowl and melt the cheese in the oven broiler (where it browns) it is extra lovely!

  5. some days you just need the easy stuff lol
