Easiest Ever Choucroute

"I got this recipe from a magazine. Choucroute is French for "dressed sauerkraut" . I haven't made this but it sounds tasty."

  • Heat oil in large skillet.
  • Add pork and season with 1/8 tsp salt and black pepper.
  • Cook 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  • Remove and set aside.
  • Add onion and sausage to skillet.
  • Cook 5 minutes.
  • Add beer and scrape up any browned bits.
  • Stir in coleslaw mix, vinegar, brown sugar, caraway seed and 1/2 tsp salt.
  • Cook 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add pork to pan and heat through.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve.
