  1. Beautiful curry with wonderful flavours. Like lazyme, I halved the recipe and used Recipe #174350. Did not use all the water -- it would have made it too liquid. We make the banana side dish (without the butter) to accompany many of our curries.

  2. This is a lovely curry. I halved the recipe and used diced cooked chicken. The sauteed bananas and coconut added a nice touch. Next time I think I will add a chopped apple and some raisins, with some peanuts on top. Just me. Thanks Sue. Made for ZWT 4 Spice It Up challenge.

  3. Great curry. We love curries and loved this dish. I halved the recipe and used chicken. I used Recipe #174350 for the curry powder and garnished with sliced bananas, shredded coconut, peanuts and had mango chutney on the side. I also served this over Recipe #174953 and it was a great combination. Thanks Sue. Made for ZWT4 Spice It Up challenge.

  4. This is delicious, glad that I hardly tasted the turmeric in here. It's creamy and coconut-y (if ever there's such a word. lol) Somehow it tastes like Asian curry. Served this with Recipe #309985. Yum yum! Thanks! Made for WZT4.

  5. We liked the flavors, and the banana and coconut side dish (I used plantains instead) was good, but this was WAY too salty. I"m not sure if 1 tablespoon is a typo, but I would not put in that much again. Made for ZWT4: African Curry Challenge.

Tweaks

  1. This was stellar! It needed a little more "heat" for us so we added some chili sauce at the table, but it was amazingly good flavor-wise. We did substitute milk plus coconut extract for the coconut cream. We also made our own curry powder (Recipe #252065). Absolutely fabulous! Made for ZWT4 Spice It Up challenge.
