“I first made this using prepared gravy. The flavor was good but the gravy was way too thin with the liquid that cooked out of the meat. Sometimes I let the meat cook for a couple of hours without adding anything, pour off the liquid then add the gravy mix. I like a really thick gravy with this. I serve it over mashed potatoes or rice. Also very good on buns with peppers and onions.”

Directions

  1. Place meat into crock pot and sprinkle dry gravy mix over it.
  2. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  3. Shred meat with fork.
