Ingredients Nutrition

  • cooked egg noodles
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 14 cup diced onion
  • 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 12 cup water (I use the soup can)
  • 12 cup sour cream
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. Brown the hamburger meat and chopped onions.
  2. Drain the cooked hamburger.
  3. Add both cans of soup and 1/2 cup of water.
  4. Add salt, pepper, and a shake of garlic powder to taste.
  5. Bring the sauce to a bubble, then simmer on low heat for 15 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally.
  6. Turn off the heat and stir in 1/2 cup of sour cream. We usually just put a big dollop into the sauce, adding more to our taste.
  7. Spoon the sauce over cooked egg noddles. Enjoy!
