  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Grease round pan.
  • Prepare streusel topping (1/3 cup Bisquick, 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon and butter) and set aside.
  • Mix well Bisquick, milk, sugar and egg.
  • Spread in pan and sprinkle with streusel topping.
  • Bake 18-20 minutes.

  1. Probably because I don't have any fond childhood memories of making or eating this coffee cake, I found it rather disappointing. It was kind of bland and a little dry, really nothing special. I ended up feeding half of it to my dogs. They loved it! Nothing really wrong with it, just not worth the calories. I think it might be better with some blueberries in it. It was very quick and easy to make, but next time I'll probably do the extra work and make something from scratch.
     
  2. This was the first recipe I remember making when I was a teen and I've been making it ever since. The only difference is that I use 1/3 cup brown sugar. Thanks NewHopeDMN! Roxygirl
