  1. BOIL water in medium saucepan.
  2. Add broccoli; bring to boil.
  3. Cover; reduce heat to low.
  4. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until tender; drain.
  5. Place half of broccoli and chicken broth in food processor or blender; cover.
  6. Process until smooth.
  7. MELT butter in same saucepan over medium heat.
  8. Add onion; cook, stirring occasionally, for 1 to 2 minutes or until onion is tender. Stir in flour.
  9. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.
  10. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
  11. Add broccoli mixture and remaining chopped broccoli.
  12. Heat through.
