"Can adapt to the oven also. It's not gourmet, but if you're pressed for time, it's darn good."

  1. Really flavorful and flexible recipe. Thank you for sharing this winner for working Moms and Dads. It was really easy, taking only 15-20 minutes to put together before work and 15 minutes after work to get the full dinner, with extras, on the table. I used diced tomatoes, omitted thyme, added 1 tbsp chopped garlic, 1 diced red pepper, 1 full Vidalia onion, sliced thin, 1 cup water. Cooked 8 hrs on low. Served in shallow bowl, over egg noodles, topped with grated parmesan. With the added water and the cacciatore like flavor and broth, it was great for dipping Vermont Country Deli whole grain toast. Amazing the whole family liked the same meal. Next time, I'd serve with fresh green beans added at end, in my bowl only??

  2. Pork chops were the only thing left in the freezer so I searched for a quick and easy recipe, and this was the one I chose :D The whole day I was breathing this in as it was cooking in the slowcooker and I just could not wait for dinnertime, the day went so slow LOL. I also added a tablespoon of bottled minced garlic and cooked it for 4 hours on high. Delicious :)

  3. Easy to make, but our pork chops ended up rather dry. I cooked them for the 8 hours and now think that 6 hours would probably be better. The dish itself was very tasty. We served it with couscous that had pine nuts in it. Very good.

  4. The aroma from these chops cooking is heavenly - my stomach actually growled waiting for dinner! I used Mexican style stewed tomatoes and added 1 tsp chili flakes. On low for 6 hours - Dinner was super good! Thanks "Parsley" for a keeper

  5. This was good. I wasn't sure what to expect but we liked it. I followed the recipe except that I used crushed tomotoes instead of stewed tomatoes as I thought I had stewed tomatoes but didn't. It was easy to put together in the morning. It smelled really good cooking too :)
