Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 lb extra lean ground beef
  • 3 cups whole wheat penne, cooked, drained
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar pasta sauce
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 12 cup part skimmed mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Brown meat in a large skillet; drain. Add Pasta sauce and Parmesan; mix well.
  3. Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish; top with mozzarella. Bake 20 minutes or until heated through.
  4. SUBSTITUTE: You can substitute Italian sausage for the ground beef.
  5. SPECIAL EXTRA: Brown meat with 1 teaspoons Italian seasoning and 3 cloves garlic, minced.
