"Kids love this EASY after school snack. Cheese melts to look like a Mickey head. So easy, its more of an idea than an actual recipe. Kids of all ages will like it. I made it up and thought it was cute. Also good for kids to help make!"

  1. I gave this 2 stars. I made this for PAC Spring 2008. First of all I thought this was such a cute idea and thought it sounded so yummy and thought the kids at my house would love it. Well I was wrong. My 3 yrs old and 5 yrs old newphews did not like the string cheese melted on the crackers. They did however like the crackers and dipping them in ketchup. I on the other hand loved them. I wasn't crazy over the ketchup but I'd like to try this with some leftover pasta sauce. I used garlic flavored Tricuits. I also only cut 15 discs out and used only 5 crackers. Overall I will have this again as I liked it and that what a good cute snack. Thanks for posting a good snack. Christine (internetnut)

  2. How adorable and clever! Too bad I can't eat that string cheese, or I'd be making this myself, sounds delicious. I will save it anyway and maybe I can pass it along to someone else. Thanks for sharing, Reality! :)

My what a difference a good stove makes!! When I was young, I LOVED to cook. Then I got married, got my first little house, and suddenly none of my dishes would turn out right! For years I simply thought I had lost my touch. Then, thankfully, I got a new stove. It had been my stove all the while! (Burning the bottom of my cookies, leaving inside still doughy, etc.) As for my "day" job, I am a law school graduate and stay at home Mom. I am currently awaiting my results from the Calfornia State Bar Exam. If I pass (fingers crossed), I will officially be an attorney. UPDATE: I am on a serious diet! Looking for great low low low cal recipes. All this cooking has lead to a 35 lb weight increase! I have already lost 7 and have 28 more to go.
