1. This is perfect, we make mushroom rice a lot, but this is perfect - recipe is memorable, so it's a lifetime one for me now. We put parsley in at the very end though, otherwise - this is PERFECT - thanks :)

 2. Great side dish!
I used long grain white rice, canned mushrooms and dried garlic, onions and parsley... turned out wonderfully! Thanks so much!! Will be making this again and again!

 3. Do not use Minute Brown Rice. This is for regular brown rice.

 4. Served this at a dinner party and everyone loved it! How pretty it looked on the table! I used beef broth because we were having steak and it just seemed the thing to do LOL Thanks for sharing!

 5. This was a huge hit with all in my family. I used chicken broth, which was great, but think I would like to try it with beef broth next time. Brown rice and mushrooms go so well together. This will become a regular at my house. Thanks for posting.

I love to cook! My husband is very thin so he can eat anything!! He was raised on a farm so was a meat and tater man. Used to say anything other than meat and taters was exotic food.
We've been married 40+ years so he is used to my experiments.
