Easy No Cook/Bake Chilled Fridge Tart

"my mom's favourite recipe for family barbecues, I am ALWAYS asked for the recipe! You can make it as low or high-fat as you like and leave it plain or use toppings, eg: use strawberry yoghurt, then top with strawberries and cream, or apricot yoghurt with apricots, chocolate with chocolate, etc."

  • Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Make up the jelly packet with only HALF the liquid (to make about 285ml jelly).

  • You can double the mix by using gelatine, mixed with half the recommended water, a 300g carton of cream cheese and another 500g yoghurt.

  1. great recipe, i never knew it would be so easy to make something so tasty

  2. Really easy - foolproof! Because you can vary the yoghurt and the fruit you use, you can make it differently every time.

I am a very late starter in the kitchen. I have a 5-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son and would love them to enjoy cooking as I never did until recently! I found this website whilst looking for scone recipes.I had tried to make them twice before and ended up with inedible rock cakes!!! I finally got them right after trying one of the recipes here. I like REALLY well-explained recipes, and ones with US/UK conversions.
