  • 1 large butternut squash
  • 125 g butter
  • milk
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • cream (optional)

directions

  • Peel and deseed butternut.
  • Cut butternut into cubes and boil until tender.
  • Mash butternut or liquidise in food processor.
  • Melt about butter in a pot.
  • Pour butternut into the pot, and add milk to thin it out.
  • Add salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Stir well, cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Serve with a dollop of cream (optional).
