Easy Peasy Pizza Sauce

"This is a delicious yet very simple sauce to go on your "from scratch" pizzas. I use it on both my home-made crust as well as my Boboli crust pizzas. It makes enough for 2 large rectangular pizzas or 2 Boboli crusts with some left over. You can easily cut it in half. (It's simplicity takes some of the work out of making pizza from scratch.)"

  1. This makes a really good flavorful sauce! Thanks for posting.

  2. I needed pizza sauce for Recipe #313454 and I didn't have any. I followed the recipe as written other then I used Splenda instead of sugar as that is all I buy and it worked out. Made for Fall PAC 2008.

  3. Pretty good. I added a bit, ok a lot more sugar, but only because I like my sauce on the sweeter side.

  4. Very good & this recipe saved me- I had the dough started for Recipe #112643 before I realized there was no pizza sauce in the pantry. This was very simple to throw together while the dough was rising. I'll keep this handy for future reference-- thanks for sharing!

I'm a retired grandma who loves to try new recipes. I also want to preserve some of our family's favorite recipes and some of the recipes I inherited from my Mother and Grandmother so my children will have them. I love to cook (but not everyday if I can help it) so I like to cook things that give us left-overs. Also, my hubby takes lunch to work five days a week, so I try to cook things that will heat-up in the microwave at his work. I love to knit, read, bird-watch, tinker in the garden and I am discovering old movies. I am quite fond of cats, and sometimes they appear in my recipes - but not as ingredients :-).<img img src=http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j166/ZaarNicksMom/PACsticker-Adopted.jpgsrc=http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/IWasAdoptedfall08.jpg border=0 alt=Photobucket>
