  1. Sorry to say it is kinda bitter and needs a little sugar.

  2. We chose this recipe because we don't like super sweet tasting pizza sauce. I made the sauce exactly as written and it ended up tasting too bitter with way too much basil and oregano. I had to double the tomato sauce and add some brown sugar just to tone it down enough to use.

  3. just started eating healthier and didn't think pizza was going to fit in. Thanks to this super easy sauce and whole wheat pitas I may stick to my new eating plan. Thanks from me and mine

  4. I was looking for a super easy, super quick sauce to use on Recipe #58957, and this one fit the bill perfectly. I didn't need quite so much, so I just used an 8-ounce can of tomato sauce and halved the recipe. Thanks for posting!

  5. I made this and forgot to rate it. It is so easy and convenient. I live 20 miles from town so this sure comes in handy when your out of the store bought. I'm making calzones tonight and needed pizza sauce so I'll be using this recipe again. Thanks for posting a no cook pizza sauce recipe.

I was born in Newfoundland, Canada. I grew up watching my grandmother bake bread and knit. <br>I now live in a friendly little town on the coast of North Carolina. I love to bake, especially bread and desserts. I also love to knit, especially socks, just like my grandmother. I am the co-owner of a yarn shop in our little town. When I'm not working in the shop I am usually at home in the kitchen!
