Easy & Quick Strawberry Wedding Cake

- 1 (18 ounce) box white cake mix
- 3 egg whites (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 1⁄3 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 1 1⁄3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 1 (12 -16 ounce) container white frosting
- 1 1⁄2 pints fresh strawberries
- 1 (12 ounce) package strawberry glaze
directions
- Preheat oven to 350F and lightly grease/flour cake pans.
- Mix and bake cake mix according to directions on box.
- Use 2 - 8" or 9" round cake pans.
- Wash strawberries immediately before using and slice very thin.
- On bottom cake, spread a layer of strawberry glaze over the top portion of the cake--not the sides.
- Cover top portion of cake with thinly sliced strawberries. DO NOT OVERLAP, lay them side by side.
- Lay 2nd cake on top of the other one, and start spreading white icing on top and sides of cake.
- Decorate top of cake with whole fresh strawberries.

My passions are God, my family, music (I am pianist at my church, I play guitar and sing) reading and resting. If I had a month off from work to do nothing, I'd just lay around and read, play music and try new recipes! I also have a beautiful 4 yr old granddaughter who lives with us and she is the light of our lives!
