  • In a saucepan, cook the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink.
  • Stir in butter until melted.
  • Sprinkle with flour.
  • Gradually stir in milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
  • Serve over biscuits.

  3. I just made this tonight for dinner and everyone loved it. I did thicken it a little more with cornstarch and a little water. I will be making this again for sure, thanks for posting!
     
  4. We love sausage gravy with recipe#161470. This recipe was easy to make, the directions were excellent. I did sub the 1 3/4 c with whipping cream and only used 2 1/2c of 2% milk. It was plenty thick enough, I felt if I used another cup it would of made the gravy to thin. Made this for the "Easy Does It" event in the photo forum. Thanks for sharing this fast breakfast recipe :)
