- 1 lb bulk pork sausage
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 3⁄4 cups milk
- 3 1⁄2 cups milk
- biscuit
directions
- In a saucepan, cook the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink.
- Stir in butter until melted.
- Sprinkle with flour.
- Gradually stir in milk, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
- Serve over biscuits.

We love sausage gravy with recipe#161470. This recipe was easy to make, the directions were excellent. I did sub the 1 3/4 c with whipping cream and only used 2 1/2c of 2% milk. It was plenty thick enough, I felt if I used another cup it would of made the gravy to thin. Made this for the "Easy Does It" event in the photo forum. Thanks for sharing this fast breakfast recipe :)
