  1. Loved it! Was not sure about condensed soup, but was worked fine with recipe liquids. Taste and texture were great and prep time right on the money. Thank you. Next time it is lobster with lobster bisque!!!!

  2. I would just like to add, while I have not made this - YET. The review by Fgrouse is grossly incorrect on stating that cooking the shrimp for 7 minutes is too long. Apparently, they did not read the recipe. The shrimp are NOT cooked for 7 minutes. READ before you post.

  3. 7 minutes is way too long to cook shrimp!

  4. omg. You just killed the shrimp newburg. But if you want to learn how to make the original recipe, let me know. I`m a restaurateur and I feel really sad when you Americans destroy the good recipes from the original recipes

  5. YIKES! Each serving of this has just over HALF of the recommended intake of sodium! That's a lot for one meal. Also, this is listed as a one pot meal. Just wondering what the rice was cooked in...

I?m ?originally from Texas, but now live in Florida. Still gotta have that spice though....love chipotle peppers, habaneros, and jalapenos. This is a picture of myself & my 2 daughters taken in Dec'06. I am working on my graduate degree, & still work as a nurse prn. When I'm not cooking and eating what I cook... I head for the gym to work out. As far as cookbooks, I love the church/ community cookbooks, where someone has dug out old handwritten recipes by granny and shared them with others-those are the best kind. If I had a month off, I'd for sure go hiking, would love to visit Australia and New Zealand.?
