Easy Spiced Salmon

"Adapted from WW Magazine (May 2008). The original recipe included a kind of relish which I skipped, so this was a super easy and delicious way to make salmon. We served this with fruit salad sprinkled with grated coconut. If following the WW flex plan this is about 5 points/serving."

 1. Quick and easy ~ and tasty! I sprinkled the fillets with garlic salt, added freshly grated black pepper, then sprinkled on the curry powder and brown sugar ~ just eyeballing it! I roasted my salmon at 425F for 10 minutes.

 2. Simple, quick and yummy. I served it with steamed rapine and Recipe #501835. It made a great quick supper after tonight a long day. Loved the use of the curry.

 3. This is good, and it is very easy. I actually roasted it in the oven because that is what I am used to doing with salmon - and it worked great. I am new to using curry powder, and this is a great introduction. I did add a squeeze of lime juice at the table. Thanks for posting, ellie.

I love cooking and trying different foods, but my favorite cookbooks are now Weight Watchers or low fat/low cal cookbooks as I tend to try and make low fat/low cal recipes. I lost over 90 pounds on Weight Watchers and have maintained for over a year now -- so my cooking/eating habits have changed drastically following my weight loss and to keep it off!
