  1. Lucious swiss steak!! I made this with sirloin steak and browned them before putting them in the oven. Then made homemade mashed potatoes to serve along side the steak. The gravy on the steak is delicious! A very easy dish to make. Had green beans and salad, wonderful meal. Will make again! Thanks Terri F!!!

  2. Really really good. If a novice like me can put this together and have it come out tasting like a meal I spent hours on, then anyone can do it. This is the first recipe I tried. It was very simple, the directions were very easy, and it tasted excellent. Thank you for this.

  3. This is for sure a 5 star. Meat was tender as can be. Gravy tasty. Easy prep and oven time is no worry to check it. Potatoes on top was great..I used garlic flavored potatoes. We ate so much of it I was worried about having some the next day. I just think this is just a great recipe. Thank You

  4. This is well worth the five stars, not only for taste but also for how easy it is. I guess that's how it got it's name. My whole family loved this and that doesn't happen too often. It even got the seal of approval from my six year-old. My husband actually went back for thirds. The only change I made was to peel and dice 4 medium potatoes and add them and I put it in a 9x13 glass baking dish. I cooked it for 3 hours on 300 degrees F. It probably would have been done sooner, but I cooked it while I did my afternoon schoolbus run. The house smelled soooo good when we walked in. Thank you Terri F. This will be a regular from now on in our house.
