Easy Tacos

"Can it be this easy? Yes it can. Try this and you'll ask yourself why you ever bought any of that stuff in an envelope. And make seasoning ahead? Why bother, when it is just this simple?"

  1. This is pretty much how I make my tacos, except I do not use all spice. The recipe always works out for me, and is a husband pleaser (which is hard for my to do with my dh being picky most of the time). Thanks for sharing!

  2. I followed the recipe exact and used the flour. They came out good, but not at all what I expected...not enough Mexican flavor and not very saucy. 2 out of 6 in the family thought they were "sweet tasting". My son, who usually eats 4-5 tacos, didn't even finish his first one. The rest of us thought they were ok, but that the allspice flavor was too strong (I thought it seemed like a lot when I read it). With a bunch of toppings it wasn't as prominent, but I don't think I'll be making these again. People who like more of a mild flavored taco meat would enjoy these though, I'm sure.
