  1. This is good but I like mine. Take 2 tablespoons pepper, granulated garlic, onion powder and 1 Tble each salt and celery salt. Butter in pan, be liberal with seasoning. Fry one side 4 min. And flip. When the blood come to the surface it is done.

  2. Wow, this was way better than I ever expected it to be and it was so quick and easy too, i usually dont really like much venison but this changed my mind fo sho.

  3. I cook and eat a lot of venison and have many delicious recipes. This one definitely rates high! very simple and quick. I used back straps cut one inch thick. I used powders instead of salts for the garlic and onion and added a small amount of regular salt. I had no Mrs. Dash and used a pinch of Crazy Mixed Up Salt. My oil was 2 parts butter to1 part bacon grease. Cast iron skillet, 7 minutes per side. my wife loved it! PERFECT! Made pan gravy with the drippings with more flour and milk. TOO GOOD!!!!

  4. First time cooking this, turned out great. 5 min per side, slow cooking. You can keep it a bit more if you like it more cooked.

Tweaks

  1. Very good and easy to make. I am always looking for new ways to eat venison as I am fortunate to have a hubby that hunts :) The whole family enjoyed this. I made exactly as written other then I used garlic powder and onion powder instead of garlic salt and onion salt.
