Ingredients Nutrition

  • 10 slices firm white bread
  • 2 cups honey
  • 12 pint heavy cream (more or less to taste)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Remove the crust from the bread.
  3. Soak the slices in honey for at least a half hour.
  4. Lightly grease a small deep baking dish.
  5. Using a spatula, pile the slices of bread evenly,one on top of another, in the baking dish.
  6. Bake in a 300 degrees oven for 45 minutes.
  7. Cool and chill in the refrigerator.
  8. Slice and top with heavy cream.
