  1. Saute onions and garlic in olive oil.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until brown.
  3. Meanwhile, simmer tomatoes, tomatoe paste, and spices in a medium pot.
  4. Add ground beef when done.
  5. Boil lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  6. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  7. Combine cottage cheese, eggs and parmesan cheese in a bowl.
  8. Layer lasagna noodles, cheese and sauce. Repeat layers one more time. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes.
