"Southern Comfort & Pineapple drink, I'm posting this for the Election Eats Tag Game November 2008. I have revised this drink recipe following mama's review. She was right the original whiskey and pineapple was terrible. So... I changed it to southern comfort."

1 ounce Southern Comfort
1 ounce pineapple juice
1 dash lemon
1 dash sugar

directions

shake in a coctail shaker with ice, strain into a cocktail glass.
Drink before, during or after the election, depending on the outcome.

I don't really like Southern Comfort but in this, it was great. I made it for DH. He loved it. He likes tart drinks. I omitted the sugar for him. And I used a big dash of lemon juice. Thanks BakinBaby. Made for Newest Zaar Tag.

I used Crown Royal in this but I just did not like the combo of whiskey and pineapple I guess. The sugar and lemon was a nice addition. Thanks for a great fun recipe. I know others will really enjoy this one.
