Ingredients Nutrition

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 12 cup light Karo syrup
  • 12 cup cold water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 cup nuts

Directions

  1. Cook sugar, corn syrup and water over medium heat until it forms a soft ball when dropped in water.
  2. Over the egg whites which have been beaten stiff, pour 1/2 of mixture and cook remaining half until it will crack when dropped in water.
  3. Pour other half over first mixture, beating constantly.
  4. Add vanilla flavoring and nuts.
  5. Drop on cookie sheet.
