  • Drain clams reserving liquid.
  • Saute the onion, celery and garlic in olive oil.
  • Add spices, tomatoes, wine, reserved clam broth.
  • Simmer 30 minutes,.
  • Add tomato paste to desired thickness.
  • Add reserved clams.
  • Serve over pasta with good parmesan cheese.

My husband and I moved to fort Myers Beach after retirement 4 years ago. We are golfers and love inshore and offshore fishing. The boats are docked in the back yord and are a wonderful sight to wake up to every morning. The water is my passion. I also love animals. My real life's work is Registered Nursing. I have 2 sons. One is married and I have a 10 month old grandson. My Grandmother is going to be 101 years old October 1. She inspired my love of cooking and home. She still cooks, drives and lives in her own home. She is my inspiration on life.
