  • Mix all ingredients and blend well.
  • Pour into a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until light brown on top.
  • Note: 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese may be sprinkled on top during last 10 minutes of baking (optional).

  4. This is one of those dishes that you can't leave alone till it's gone! It was a wonderful side to have with our ribs and macaroni and cheese. Delicious, that's what it is!!!
     
  5. Great tasty side dish. Very easy to make. I used a larger (14 oz ?) can of both regualar corn and creamed corn. All the flavors meld together so wonderfully. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Tweaks

  1. I made a lower fat version of this and it still turned out great: I used fat free sour cream, 2% fat cheddar cheese, and I cut the butter down to 1/4 cup and added 3 TBSP olive oil to make up for the reduced butter. It still tasted rich, so I might dare to substitute more butter with olive oil next time for a healthier dish.
