  • In a large skillet, cook the bacon until it is almost crispy.
  • Stir in the sliced potatoes and cook until the potatoes are tender.
  • Stir in the onion and pepper and cook about another 5 minutes.
  • Serve with Shredded Cheddar Cheese and/or sour cream.

I live in the Atlanta area but am originally from Buffalo, NY. One of the things I miss most about my home town is the wonderful food. Since I can't find most of these foods here in Georgia, I've learned to re-create them myself. Since I work full-time, like most people, our meals need to be fairly quick and easy. Although on the weekends, I try to get a little more fancy. My husband and I love trying new foods since we get so tired of the same old stuff and we LOVE using the grill. I love this site!! I look forward to trying lots of new recipes.
