Directions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.
  2. In hot butter in large skillet, saute onion, garlic and mushrooms until onion is golden, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add beef, stirring, until it is browned. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in flour, tomato sauce, burgundy, bouillon, salt and pepper.
  5. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Blend in sour cream.
  7. In lightly greased 2 quart casserole, layer a third of the noodles, then a third of the meat mixture. Repeat twice.
  8. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees uncovered 25 minutes.
