I made this dip for snacking with my hubby, but didn't care for the heaviness. In my opinion, the cream cheese needs to be blended with some mayo or sour cream in order to produce a creamier dip. The flavors of the garlic, onions and Worcestershire melded together well with the crab, but the dip just wasn't a creamy as I would have liked. Thanks, anyway.

I made this for a club meeting, and they practically licked the bowl clean. I made it with the measurements listed, except that I added double the cream cheese. When I mixed it up with only one block of cheese, it was a little strong on the green onion and Worchestershire sauce. Also, I hadn't looked at the yield, and it was not really enough for what I needed. I added another block of cheese, which made the yield just right, and also evened out the flavors. I used 3 Tablespoons of Worchestershire sauce. If I was making it just for us, I would have added more garlic. Also, I sprinkled sliced almonds on top for about the last 10 minutes in the oven, just for a little crunch. Very good, might just replace my crab dip recipe that I've used for several years.

With 5 kids and a hungry husband to feed, I'm always looking for good, budget friendly meals. We generally eat meals that use little meat (I try to use 1 lb or less per dinner, and none the rest of day), so that means lots of casseroles and meats with gravy.
I enjoy baking, so bread recipes and desserts tend to get saved more frequently than others. I'm especially partial to chocolate and lemon (although not together).
