Everything But the Kitchen Sink Cake

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 18 14 ounces butter recipe yellow cake mix
  • 23 cup milk, use instead of water to make cake
  • 12 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract, add to milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 large granny smith apple, peeled and chopped
  • 12 cup raisins or 12 cup craisins or 12 cup dried cherries
  • 12 cup chocolate chips or 12 cup butterscotch chips or 12 cup white chocolate chips (not chocolate mint, either one kind of chip or mixed)
  • 12 cup chopped nuts, anything but peanuts.


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour bundt pan, I use Bakers Joy baking spray.
  3. Blend cake mix, milk, almond extract, butter and eggs in large bowl for 30 seconds on low speed.
  4. Then beat on medium speed for 4 minutes.
  5. Fold in all other ingredients until well mixed.
  6. Pour into prepared bundt pan.
  7. Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
  8. Cool in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes.
  9. Invert and remove cake from pan onto wire rack.
  10. Cool completely.
  11. Dust with confectioners sugar.
