Failsafe Chips

"This goes great with a meal, on its own or with my failsafe burgers, then my kids don't think they are missing out on takeaway. My 2 daughters have intolerances to many things so takeaway is off the menu."

  • 500 g potatoes, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon safflower oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt

  • Peel potatoes, and cut into desired shape, I usually do wedges.
  • In a bowl cover potato with oil and then add garlic salt. Coat evenly.
  • Place in a 200°C oven and cook for 20 – 30 minutes, depends on cut of chip.

  1. Not sure what I did wrong but most of the wedges were burnt, I like very crispy chips but the rest of the family didn't care for them to much. However I thought the flavour was very nice. Thank you Trinity_1966
