Fall off the Bone Bar-B-Q Chicken

"This was one of my favorite meals growing up. We serve the remaining sauce over mashed potatoes. You can use bone-less chicken but it's not nearly as good."

  1. This was an easy recipe to make with delicious results. I used a Pampered Chef 9x13 stoneware pan in my convection oven. For the first hour I baked at 375 degrees, with the last 1 1/2 hour at 290 degrees. At the end of the first hour, I opened the door and looked at all that beautiful BBQ sauce on top of the chicken. I just could not bring myself to turn the chicken and lose all that sauce. So leaving it as it was, the BBQ sauce made a nice thick glaze on the chicken at the end of baking. This is what I may try next time. Brush one side of the chicken with the sauce first and bake 1 hour. Then after turning, pour the rest of the sauce on and finish baking. I will make this again. Made for Fall PAC 2012
