Family Favorite Spaghetti Sauce
"My mother has been making this sauce since before I can remember. Picking the tomatoes off the vine in our garden. The smell of it cooking makes our house the most welcoming on the block, and the bright red color of the sauce from using vine ripened tomatoes makes it a real treat."

ingredients
- 4 cups tomato sauce
- 8 cups diced tomatoes
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄8 teaspoon msg
- 1⁄8 teaspoon onion salt
- 1⁄4 cup dried parsley
- 1⁄3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 lbs link sausage
directions
- Brown link sausage, and cut into thirds.
- Combine all ingredients into large sauce pan.
- Cover and simmer.
- Cook for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.

I have lived in Utah my whole life, have been married 11 years and have 4 children. I have recently gone back to work now that they are all in school and we have put my oldest into a privat high school. As I am getting older I am feeling very nostalgic for the foods and traditions that I grew up with and want to make sure that my children get a chance to experience all of the fun Lebanese foods and things that I did when I was growing up. When I have spare time it is spent playing with my family or hanging out at my church, and no, even though I have lived in Utah my whole life I am not LDS.
